i don't know why i have been maintaining hanging leg raises as my abdominal exercise considering its mediocrity. i considered adopting the ab wheel but i opted for the dragon flag instead because it requires no additional equipment. i personally use my closet door as a handhold so the motion is also like a pullover but benches work too.
in terms of getting old i have had more seemingly unprovoked injuries: after some mild running i began to experience some joint looseness in the left foot in the same region that i had the arch pain. now its more of a dull pain probably related to the constant cracking and grinding that it experiences. My left knee is also subject to easy cracking if not carefully warmed up which usually results in a dull pain that lasts throughout the day.
these injuries are probably due to weakness from past injuries, lack of conditioning, and being improperly warmed up. i used to ponder the point of properly warming up but now i know that it is wisdom that becomes necessary with age; joint braces have become my friends.
