the one-armed chin-up

it was the summer of 2008 that i started training for the one-arm chin, aka one-arm pullup. i tried several training methods: the weighted chins, one-arm negatives, and various assisted one-arm chins. of all of them, i like the finger assisted one-arm chins because they require no equipment, other than the bar itself, and it allows for progressive overload, albeit inaccurate.

i am currently doing 2-3 rep pinky assisted one-arm chins and i can do ~100 degree partials one-arm chins on either arm. i can honestly say that pursuing the one-arm chin is a rewarding experience both in strength and pride.
